Located in Tanzania’s famous Ngorongoro crater, Height’s Estate is prime coffee producing real estate!
Heights Estate is one of those coffees that really stands out as a shining example of a nation’s coffee. Tanzania – while very close geographically to Rwanda and Burundi – has a character all of its own. This lot is comprised of two varieties, the widely popular and ancient Bourbon and the lesser-known Kent, the latter being an unusual Typica mutation originally discovered in India. Heights Estate has been producing coffee since the 1930’s and has steadily grown in both size and quality. In the cup you can expect notes of tangerine, orange, cacao nibs and ripe cherry.
