Coffee tastes like coffee right? Wrong! This course is all about smelling, tasting and experiencing the world of specialty coffee. Students begin with a presentation of how coffee, as we know it, is produced; from seed to cup. They will experience many of the fragrances and aromas commonly (and not so commonly) associated with coffee, participate in an industry standard cup tasting session and learn about how brew ratios affect taste profiles.
*This course is available in two different versions: industry professionals (intermediate-advanced) and enthusiasts (beginner). Please book your preferred option. It is strongly recommended that applicants complete the Foundation Espresso course before attempting the more advanced classes.
